Shawn Bartz

Craig is a fantastic agent who went above and beyond for us, even though our’s was just a land purchase. He’s very knowledgeable and extremely personable, and very easy to talk to and work with. He took the time to talk with us and answer any questions we had, and has been a constant advocate for us with other parties to keep this transaction on track. This has been a great help to us since we’re out-of-state. Even though we’re not ready to build yet, he has encouraged us to keep in contact and has offered to provide whatever advice or assistance he can. Even in this incredibly hectic market, he does whatever he’s able to do to put his clients’ needs first, regardless of whether you’re in a bidding war to get that perfect Gulf-access home or you’re just buying a vacant lot in the NW for the future.

As an experienced buyer I only want to work with the best. I was under a tight time line, I spoke with Craig, told him what I wanted, he gave me very good leads that I narrowed down and had him show me the top half a dozen. Craig set up very fast showings, some good choices, but one I kept going back too, my new home! All in two days and closed within a few weeks! By the way view him on YouTube.

I want to warn all working-class buyers, veterans, and fellow first responders: **Do NOT just trust these guys.** We learned the hard way that a fancy name doesn't mean a lick of service. We met Craig exactly once. He popped out of a side room for a few minutes like he was some kind of A-list celebrity, gave us the "big shot" vibe, and then vanished. We never saw him again. Instead, we were pawned off on his cousin Erik to do all the actual work. I guess since we weren't spending millions, we weren't worth his precious time or ego. We stopped using them entirely. We went well over a month without even speaking to them. We found a different realtor who actually cared, worked hard, and closed a great deal on a beautiful home for us. Now, out of nowhere, Craig and his cousin Erik are coming back demanding **$13,000**. Why? Because when we first met, they had me sign a "standard" paper that allegedly states they are owed a commission for 12 months, even if they don't do a single thing for you. They had **zero** involvement in the house we actually bought, yet they’re shaking us down for a massive payday because they failed to explain the predatory "exclusive" nature of the paperwork they slid across the desk. I take the blame for being a "trusting guy" and not scrutinizing the fine print, I must say it’s truly "great" to see a couple of guys so willing to take advantage of veterans, police officers, and families with children with disabilities. If you value your hard-earned money and want a realtor who actually shows up, look elsewhere.
